Indiana Jones Film Series

The Indiana Jones film series, created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, follows archaeologist and adventurer Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr. through globe-spanning quests for powerful artifacts. Beginning with Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, the franchise defined the modern adventure film and made Harrison Ford one of the biggest movie stars in the world. Five films were released between 1981 and 2023, produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
